A Message To PTI Supporters: If you don’t do any of following then please don’t feel offended as this article is for those only who did and do it. If you feel offended in any way then please pay attention to final paragraph.

When it comes to political discussions we all often react immaturely because most of the times we are attached with personalities because of more than their political image. Even then political discussions and answers must be kept relevant to the topic but not personal attacks. Many of my friends who supports PTI and Imran Khan told me (which I also felt was true) that now non-political people (who never took interest in politics, never even thought of casting a vote) are supporting PTI and Imran Khan. So it is pretty much expected from such people to violate simple political discussion rule which mentioned earlier.

I don’t support Imran Khan or PTI and i have my reasons. I recently had long discussions with my friends on various forums about his “political in-capabilities”. Surprisingly i came to know that any one who is not supporting Imran Khan must have one (or in many cases all) of the following quality or must answer following question which have nothing to do with “Politics”, “Imran Khan” or “PTI”:

1. You Are Anti-Pakistan:

Most of times answer of IK followers starts with “I don’t think you want to see better Pakistan”. Why “Better Pakistan” is only bound to supporting Imran Khan. How in earth answer to questions about Imran Khan’s policies is “You don’t want to see better Pakistan?”.

2. You Are Anti-Islam:

No wonder why around the globe perception about Muslims as extremists couldn’t get changed. Islam is the most lenient Religion which teach us to respect believers of other religions as well but most among us act like “Islam k Theky Dar” (Guardians of Islam) that they have right to exclude anyone from the religion and declare him as a Non-Muslim. Only Allah Almighty’s judgment will show us all who was Muslim and who was not. Plus no one ever realizes that what remedies are required by a Muslim if he states another Muslim as Non-Muslim.

3. You Will Be Answerable to Allah (GOD):

There is a very popular yet “used for humiliation” phrase in Pakistan: “Khuda k agy kia jawab do gay kal ko?” (What will you answer to GOD on Judgment Day about this act?). The answer is very simple that i will be answerable to what i did, I will be answerable to obligations on me and I know that following Imran Khan Blindly is not an obligation on me.

4. You Are Supporting Policies of Establishment:

Oh yes! I am an agent of establishment. Just because i asked where did Imran Khan go in June 2008 leaving thousands of social activist, reformers and political workers on the road calling off “Long March” and ruining all the efforts of half year, i became Agent of Establishment. Establishment don’t have to hire me if want good for my country by asking the reason from a “Leader” why he left in middle.

5. You Want To Obey American and Foreign Orders:

At first i thought this was a Sarcasm because more than half of Imran Khan’s supporters are students and most of them are doing anything they can just to run out of Pakistan. Yet they all stating that IK will rule out American Policies, Dictatorship, Foreign pressures, etc for emergence of an Independent Pakistan. But this point still couldn’t justify the questions how Imran Khan will make Pakistan “Independent” again. I guess i am too dumb to understand that “I am in support of foreign dictatorship” was the answer.

6. You Are Paid Supporter Of PML(N):

If i am paid by PML(N), Establishment and getting remuneration on supporting Foreign Dictatorship then why the hell i am doing job? i should be sitting home, relaxing, watching movies and simply doing nothing. Oh did i make that mistake again? Yes i did! Being a Paid supporter was the actual answer of “How can IK bring change will all known, corrupt, already tried politicians who change their party less than average lease period time of a car loan”.

7. You Disappointed Me With Your Views:

Well what can i say about that? I don’t wake up daily to make you happy and proud. If you are disappointed than just answer to the questions about IK’s incapability to have Internal elections in his own party while humiliating all other parties that they are not actual parties but only dictatorships. Talking about dictatorship, next time before getting “Disappointed” on me please try to read constitution of PTI in detail.

8. You Should Get Your Facts Right:

Well my friend, i know you have an answer to my question. I had too, many times before but i never dictated you such things. If you want to be more convincing then get more evidence and supporting argument rather being my research mentor. Please show some “Political Discussion Ethics”. There were many times that your Leader was wrong, his allegations were dummy but surely you won’t found a word of “dictative advice” from me in political discussions.

9. Keep Your Views To Yourself:

Freedom to write, freedom to say, freedom to follow someone or not: were these concepts formed only for memorizing their definitions to get more marks so that one can get on top in merit list of “GO Amreeka GO’s Fulbright scholarship” ?.
If freedom to speak for anyone is to say one party’s leader as “Kutta” (Dog) or “Diesel” then he must show some courage to bear someone else’s freedom. Specially when it is actually a political discussion rather personal humiliating attacks.

Political Discussion In It’s Spirit:

It is our responsibility to keep our personal feeling aside while answering a question related to our political leadership. Political discussion is one thing i am doing from as long as i can remember and i always got the comment “Why do you talk on such topics? there is no conclusion or benefit!” and PTI supporters have “actually” started talking part in such discussions. Before few months, rather before 30th October Jalsa, i could hardly do discussion with PTI Supporters (except a few) but I am doing such discussion with PPP and Musharaf’s Supporters from years. I found PPP supporters very much attached with their leaders and they do get hyper and pass personal comments, but only personal to other leaders but not myself. But titles i got by not supporting Imran Khan are no way near to what the actual questions were. Discussions should base on facts, figures, arguments and evidence. Labeling someone with humiliating statements just shows the well being of your own.

We always say that politics is a “Dirty Game” but it is actually we who made this game “Dirty”.
